Worked on enhancing the reliability of the community-scripts/ProxmoxVE repository by addressing dependency management challenges in shell-based DevOps workflows. Focused on improving the bambuddy update script, introducing a --clear flag that replaces the virtual environment during updates to prevent conflicts from outdated dependencies. This targeted bug fix resolved a persistent risk of update failures, ensuring a fresh environment for each update and reducing maintenance downtime. Leveraged shell scripting and DevOps practices to streamline virtual environment handling, resulting in more robust and predictable ProxmoxVE maintenance processes. The work emphasized reliability and maintainability, with a clear focus on practical dependency management solutions.
