Worked on improving the contribution workflow for the Payara project by introducing structured contribution guidelines, issue templates, and standardized community practices. Focused on the payara/Payara repository, the work streamlined how contributors engage with the project and how issues are tracked and managed. Leveraged skills in DevOps and GitHub Actions to automate and monitor these new processes, ensuring consistency across repositories. Utilized Groovy, Java, and YAML to update the payara-staging repository in alignment with the FISH-13115 initiative. The result was a more efficient and transparent process for open source collaboration, enhancing both contributor experience and project maintainability.
