Worked on the jxxghp/MoviePilot repository to enhance the reliability of its Telegram bot integration, focusing on backend development and API integration using Python. Addressed a critical issue by implementing logic to reset the Telegram API URL to a valid default when cleared, preventing outages and ensuring continuous bot operation. Additionally, introduced proxy handling that dynamically derives and applies proxy settings based on the API URL, reducing failed API calls and improving connectivity. No new features were released during this period, but the work improved the system’s stability and maintainability, laying a solid foundation for future enhancements and feature development.
