Developed a reusable Custom Text Widget for the FieldAssist/fa_flutter_ui_kit repository, focusing on improving the stability and readability of code and ID displays within Flutter-based user interfaces. The widget was engineered to prevent automatic line breaks at hyphens, ensuring that codes and identifiers wrap only when necessary and do not split inappropriately. This approach addressed common UI edge cases on code-heavy screens, aligning with broader goals for UI consistency and downstream integration. The work leveraged Dart and Flutter, emphasizing robust UI development practices and contributing a targeted feature that enhances the maintainability and clarity of the overall UI kit.
