Over a two-month period, contributed to the FieldAssist/fa_flutter_ui_kit repository by delivering targeted improvements in Flutter and Dart. Developed a UI customization feature that enabled developers to override TextStyle properties for order summary widgets, supporting consistent branding and reducing downstream styling effort. The implementation aligned with existing design tokens and UI kit conventions, improving maintainability and onboarding for future contributors. Additionally, addressed a stability issue in the Progress Dialog widget by introducing null checks and lifecycle safeguards, which reduced runtime errors and improved reliability. The work demonstrated a focus on UI development, widget customization, and robust mobile application practices.
