Worked on enhancing the SQLite-backed IndexedDB store within the mozilla/gecko-dev repository by developing comprehensive test coverage for index count verification. Focused on ensuring that the count() method accurately reflects the number of entries in index structures, this work reinforced data integrity and reliability for indexing behavior. Leveraged JavaScript, IndexedDB, and SQLite to lay the groundwork for future implementation of index creation and cursor support, collaborating with storage and IndexedDB engineers to align with ongoing feature development. The approach emphasized robust web platform testing practices, contributing to improved data access performance and preparing the codebase for further feature completion and validation.
