Worked on the brevdev/brev-cli repository to address a stability issue affecting SSH operations on macOS. Focused on backend development using Go, the work involved updating the SSH ControlPath token to %C to resolve Unix socket length limitations, which are a common source of failures on macOS systems. Enhanced the logging for SSH commands and renamed socket files to improve diagnostics and error reporting, making it easier to debug and respond to incidents. These changes reduced SSH-related failure modes and clarified socket management, resulting in a more reliable developer experience and smoother continuous integration workflows for macOS users.
