Developed and delivered a new feature for the brevdev/brev-cli repository, enabling Ollama integration to support Deepseek models with robust tag validation. The implementation ensures that when users deploy Deepseek models, the system accurately identifies and validates model tags, defaulting to 'latest' if no tag is specified to prevent misconfigurations. This backend enhancement, written in Go and leveraging API integration skills, improves reliability for end users by reducing deployment errors. The work was completed in a single, auditable commit, reflecting a focused and traceable development process. No bugs were reported during this period, indicating a stable and well-tested release.
