Worked on the qualcomm-linux/meta-qcom repository to enhance CI/CD workflows by improving nightly build reliability and flexibility. Focused on expanding per-branch nightly builds and simplifying workflow inputs, the developer implemented dispatch-based triggering and enabled manual workflow execution on non-default branches using GitHub Actions and YAML. Obsolete input parameters were removed following updates to actions/checkout, reducing maintenance overhead and streamlining configuration. These changes improved feedback speed and artifact reliability while ensuring correctness in checkrun status logic across builds. The work demonstrated a strong grasp of DevOps practices, workflow management, and continuous integration, delivering targeted improvements within a focused development period.
