March 2026 — Lima (lima-vm/lima) delivered Nested Virtualization Support in the Krunkit driver, enabling users to run virtual machines inside virtual machines. The change includes macOS version compatibility checks and updates to command-line arguments to expose the nested capability. Implemented in commit 82884073f522597835b6493b73b6d1a8d88f902a with a Signed-off-by: Abiola Ibrahim. No other major bugs fixed this month. Impact: Expands testing and deployment use-cases, improves cross-VM orchestration on macOS hosts, and strengthens Lima’s support for advanced developer workflows and CI environments.
