Worked on the Nictiz/HL7-mappings repository to address technical debt in the HL7-to-ADA transformation pipeline. Focused on code cleanup by identifying and removing unused legacy XSLT files, which streamlined the project structure and improved maintainability. This effort reduced dead code paths, lowering the risk of errors and simplifying future development in XML transformation workflows. The changes enhanced repository hygiene, making onboarding easier for new contributors and enabling faster implementation of future features. Utilized XSLT and XML transformation skills to ensure the codebase remained efficient and manageable, with all improvements captured in a dedicated commit that resolved a longstanding maintenance issue.
