Worked on security hardening for the PrefectHQ/prefect-helm repository by delivering seccompProfile support within the worker chart’s podSecurityContext. This feature set the default seccomp profile type to RuntimeDefault, aligning with related pull request functionality to ensure consistent and secure configuration across Kubernetes worker pods. The implementation, using Helm Charts and YAML, enhanced security configurability and supported policy compliance for Kubernetes workloads. By focusing on secure-by-default settings, the work reduced risk and made it easier for users to meet organizational security requirements. The contribution demonstrated a methodical approach to improving infrastructure security through targeted, standards-aligned configuration enhancements.
