Contributed to the PrefectHQ/prefect-helm repository by enhancing Kubernetes deployment options for the Prefect server. Developed and co-authored a feature that introduced support for extra init containers, lifecycle hooks, and configurable termination grace periods, all defined in YAML, to improve deployment flexibility and reliability. This work enabled operators to better customize Prefect server pods for production environments, aligning with best practices in DevOps and Kubernetes management. The implementation involved close collaboration with peers, thorough documentation, and a cross-functional review process, demonstrating attention to code quality and maintainability while addressing real-world deployment needs in Helm-based Kubernetes workflows.
