During February 2025, Scolnz contributed to the Accedian/grafana-docker repository by developing two features focused on streamlining configuration and enhancing monitoring. Scolnz simplified Grafana Docker template data source definitions, reducing the configuration workload for deployment teams. Additionally, they implemented new dashboards to visualize Druid supervisor health metrics, improving observability and operational insight. The work involved updating Dockerfiles and leveraging Grafana’s template-driven data sources, with careful documentation of changes in the project changelog. Scolnz demonstrated skills in configuration management, DevOps, and monitoring, delivering targeted improvements that addressed deployment efficiency and health monitoring without introducing new bugs during the development period.
