Worked on the xwiki/xwiki-platform repository to address a user interface issue affecting the edit mode experience. Focused on front end development using VM templating, the developer resolved a bug where the page displayer incorrectly showed the document’s full name instead of its title during editing. By updating the macros.vm file to properly serialize the parent reference of the edited field, the solution ensured that the correct document title appears as intended. This change improved content accuracy and reduced confusion for users authoring documents. The work demonstrated attention to user experience and a methodical approach to UI consistency within the platform.
