Worked on improving Flatpak packaging reliability and portability for the p2panda/aardvark repository, focusing on build system configuration and CI/CD workflows. Addressed a critical issue by removing a hardcoded home directory path, which previously blocked flatpak-builder-based builds, and corrected manifest formatting by fixing whitespace errors. These targeted changes, implemented using Shell and YAML, enhanced cross-distribution packaging and reduced build failures for end users. The work contributed to more reproducible builds and streamlined onboarding for Flatpak users, aligning with business goals to minimize support overhead and improve automation stability across distributions. Demonstrated careful attention to manifest hygiene and build reproducibility.
