
Developed a modular network and operation framework for the p2panda/aardvark repository, focusing on peer-to-peer communication and auditable operations. The work introduced a network core with asynchronous messaging, gossip protocol support, and CBOR encoding using Rust and Tokio, enabling reliable message transmission and decoding. Application messages were modeled as operations, persisted for traceability, and enhanced with improved logging and document provenance. The project was restructured as a Cargo workspace, with updates to build automation and CI/CD pipelines using Meson and Shell scripting. Six bugs were resolved alongside fourteen new features, emphasizing maintainability, observability, and streamlined development workflows throughout the month.
