Adam Tervort developed an automated converter for the EveryInc/compound-engineering-plugin repository, focusing on transforming Claude Code plugins into the Factory Droid format. Using Node.js and TypeScript, Adam designed the system to output converted plugins into structured directories for commands, droids, and skills, while handling content transforms for various plugin features. The approach replaced a previously manual workflow, streamlining plugin onboarding and improving compatibility across Droid tools. Adam implemented thirteen targeted tests to ensure converter reliability and regression safety.
