Worked on the juspay/clairvoyance repository to enhance observability by integrating application logs directly into span attributes. Leveraged Python for backend development, focusing on API integration and logging improvements. The implementation introduced a unified span naming convention, added user email support to API calls, and generated session-specific OpenObserve URLs for streamlined log access. By configuring the OPEN_OBSERVE_BASE_URL environment variable, the solution enabled seamless navigation to relevant log views. These changes improved trace context accuracy and session visibility, facilitating faster root-cause analysis and incident response. The work demonstrated depth in distributed tracing, environment-based configuration, and operational insight delivery.
