
Worked on the juspay/clairvoyance repository to deliver advanced telephony configuration and call management features using Python, FastAPI, and Redis. Developed per-merchant telephony overrides by introducing a TelephonyConfig model and updating the database schema, enabling flexible call routing and merchant-specific settings. Implemented AI-to-human agent handoff with Twilio-based warm transfers, including lifecycle management and atomic agent locking for reliable conference calls. Built a Redis-backed sliding-window rate limiter with Lua scripting to control outbound call frequency, integrated Slack alerting, and provided dynamic configuration. Enhanced operational stability, compliance, and maintainability through robust backend development and comprehensive documentation updates.

Implemented a Redis-based sliding-window rate limiter with Lua scripting, per-number blocking toggle, and dynamic configuration; checks run pre-call and are observable via Slack alerts and logs. Namespaced Redis keys (breeze_buddy) and added defensive masking; updated documentation (calling_rate_limiter.md) and defined a Phase 2 integration plan. Result: improved call quality, compliance, and operator control with measurable risk reduction and maintainable configuration.
