Adithya Amarakoon developed a new BusinessController for the Company-B-MSD/tripmate repository, enabling comprehensive management of business-related API endpoints. The controller supports registering, retrieving, updating, deleting, searching, and category-based fetching of businesses, all integrated with a centralized BusinessService to maintain consistent business logic. Working primarily with Java, Spring Boot, and REST APIs, Adithya focused on backend development and ensured the codebase remained clean and maintainable through a dedicated refactoring effort. Over the course of the month, no major bugs were reported, reflecting a stable implementation. The work delivered foundational backend features with a focus on clarity and maintainability.
