Worked on the PSMRI/MMU-UI repository to enhance the reliability and validation of the LoginComponent, focusing on improving user authentication workflows. Addressed Angular lifecycle hook naming to align with framework standards, which increased component stability and maintainability. Refactored the login form validation logic to consolidate checks into a single overall validity assessment, reducing the risk of user validation errors and simplifying future updates. Utilized Angular and TypeScript to implement these changes, emphasizing best practices in front end development. The work resulted in a more robust login experience, streamlined maintenance, and faster issue resolution for both users and future development efforts.
