Aditya Ko delivered three feature updates to the BU-Spark/ds-bcc-liz-breadon-accountability repository, focusing on core codebase enhancements and a comprehensive data visualization refresh. Leveraging data analysis and data engineering skills, Aditya refactored the violations logic to improve code readability and maintainability, with batch updates extending these improvements across all violation-related code paths. The work, primarily involving CSV data manipulation, resulted in clearer data flows and more accurate visualizations, supporting better decision-making and reducing future maintenance costs. Although no bugs were fixed during this period, the depth of the refactoring laid a foundation for faster iteration and easier onboarding for future developers.
