Worked on the ubuntu/ubuntu-insights repository to enhance CI stability, code quality, and dependency management using Go and YAML. Focused on reducing CI flakiness by pinning and upgrading GitHub Actions, particularly the go/code-sanity action, and modernizing lint tooling with golangci-lint. Updated the test suite to comply with new lint rules, improving reliability and maintainability through assertion modernization. Synchronized Go module dependencies across the codebase using go work sync and go mod tidy, ensuring consistent builds and minimizing dependency drift. The work enabled faster, safer development iterations and more reliable release cycles, emphasizing CI/CD, DevOps, and code quality practices.
