During December 2024, Adrifer focused on improving the stability and reliability of the hydration flow in the TanStack/router repository. Addressing a critical race condition, Adrifer fixed a bug where the resolvePromise tsr-once script could be deleted before execution, which previously led to runtime errors during server-side and client-side rendering transitions. The work involved advanced debugging of asynchronous script lifecycles and careful management of script cleanup, all implemented using React and TypeScript. By prioritizing code health and platform reliability over new features, Adrifer laid a stronger foundation for future development and ensured more consistent user experiences across hydration scenarios.
