Advay Tandon enhanced the MicrosoftDocs/azure-devops-docs repository by delivering a documentation feature that clarifies the visibility and publishing workflow for private extensions in the Azure DevOps Marketplace. Focusing on Markdown and documentation best practices, Advay detailed how private extensions remain hidden from public view and are accessible only to publishers and shared accounts, while also providing step-by-step guidance for making extensions public via the manifest’s Public flag. This work addressed publisher confusion, reduced onboarding friction, and aligned documentation with marketplace policies. The contribution demonstrated depth in understanding both the technical and user experience aspects of manifest-based publishing workflows.
