During March 2025, AG Cacho refactored the ir-engine/ir-engine repository to improve asset handling within the editor. By hoisting the AssetsQueryProvider higher in the React component tree, AG enabled asset-related queries to be accessible across a broader scope, enhancing the user experience for asset management. This architectural change, implemented using TypeScript and JavaScript, established a scalable foundation for future asset query integrations. Although no bugs were reported or fixed during this period, the focused work reduced future refactor risk and is expected to accelerate delivery of asset-related features. The contribution demonstrated depth in frontend development and thoughtful system design.
