Worked on the Mirantis/hmc repository to enhance OpenStack CCM by enabling explicit cluster name passing and introducing new configuration options to address resource naming conflicts in multi-tenant environments. Focused on improving the reliability of cluster resource identification, especially when multiple projects are visible, by ensuring CCM receives clear cluster identity information. The solution targeted new cluster deployments and provided guidance for safely updating existing clusters during maintenance windows. Leveraged skills in cloud infrastructure, DevOps, and Kubernetes, utilizing yaml for configuration management. Collaborated closely with integration and documentation teams to deliver a robust, maintainable feature that supports safer, more predictable deployments.
