During May 2025, contributed to the newrelic/newrelic-client-go repository by developing a New Relic Metrics Client and updating endpoint configurations to support expanded regional coverage. Focused on API client development using Go, the work enabled creation and transmission of metric entries, improving observability and metric ingestion speed. Comprehensive unit and integration tests were implemented to ensure reliability and regression safety, while region configuration updates enhanced deployment readiness. The technical approach emphasized clear API surface design and robust test scaffolding, laying the groundwork for future metrics features and supporting business needs for faster, more reliable metrics-driven insights across multiple regions.
