During August 2025, Ahhlick focused on enhancing OpenAPI specification generation for complex Google API endpoints within the adk-python repository. They refactored the GoogleApiToOpenApiConverter to accurately extract path parameters from endpoints such as /v1/documents/{documentId}:batchUpdate, addressing a key bug that previously affected parameter handling. Using Python and OpenAPI Specification, Ahhlick expanded the test suite to validate parameter locations and schema accuracy, particularly for Google Docs batchUpdate operations. This work improved the reliability of generated API schemas, reduced integration time for downstream clients, and supported automation by ensuring robust, validated OpenAPI output for complex Google API workflows.
