In July 2025, Ahmed ElSheikh contributed to the OWASP-BLT/BLT repository by developing and delivering a new mentor profile feature for the GSoC 2025 mentors section. He updated the gsoc.html page using HTML and front end development skills, focusing on accurately presenting cybersecurity and AI security expertise for the mentor profile. The implementation involved a targeted, single-commit update that enhanced the visibility and credibility of the GSoC program’s mentorship offerings. Ahmed’s work supported participant onboarding and recruitment by providing clear, security-focused content, though the scope was limited to a single feature addition without broader architectural changes or bug fixes.
