Worked on the akeneo/pim-api-docs repository to enhance API documentation and developer experience over a two-month period. Focused on clarifying event-driven capabilities by documenting product completeness events and introducing a convert_measurements query parameter to improve multi-channel data handling. In August, delivered a structural refactor of the Family Variant API, separating read and write definitions and standardizing common attributes to reduce integration complexity. Employed Swagger/OpenAPI, Markdown, and YAML to ensure clear, maintainable documentation. The work enabled faster client onboarding, more versatile API usage, and improved maintainability, with an emphasis on precise, well-structured documentation and thoughtful API design.
