Worked on the gradle/gradle repository to deliver a targeted build tooling upgrade focused on improving local development workflows. Upgraded the develocity-conventions-plugin from version 0.10.2 to 0.12.1 across multiple settings files, ensuring access to the latest bug fixes and performance enhancements. Integrated mavenLocal() into pluginRepositories within settings.gradle.kts, enabling smoother local builds and better alignment between local and CI environments. This work leveraged Kotlin and build automation skills, with a strong emphasis on Gradle configuration. The changes reduced friction in local setup, streamlined artifact access, and improved consistency for developers working across different environments and build pipelines.
