Worked on the glific/glific repository to deliver a feature enhancing group synchronization by integrating Maytapi-managed phones. Focused on backend development using Elixir, the approach involved updating the sync_wa_groups process to fetch managed phones directly from the Maytapi API, which improved the accuracy of group and phone number mappings. This change addressed issues with stale group-to-phone associations, resulting in more reliable group management and consistent data. The work aligned with existing Maytapi integration patterns and laid the foundation for broader future integrations. Emphasis was placed on API integration and maintaining code quality throughout the development and deployment process.
