Worked on the DataDog/helm-charts repository to enhance the Datadog Helm chart by tuning the default memory and CPU resource requests and limits for the system-probe container. This adjustment aimed to improve the stability and efficiency of resource allocation within Kubernetes environments. The update was implemented using YAML and Helm, leveraging DevOps best practices to ensure traceability and auditability through a dedicated commit. The chart version was incremented to reflect these changes, providing clear versioning for downstream users. The work focused on infrastructure optimization, addressing resource management challenges and contributing to more reliable deployments in Kubernetes-based systems.
