Worked on stabilizing and delivering the Dataverses API test infrastructure in the IQSS/dataverse repository, focusing on backend development and test automation using Java and JUnit. Refined the handling of metadata language settings and restructured test lifecycle hooks to operate at the instance level, which improved per-test isolation and reliability. Aligned related test classes to ensure consistent cleanup and addressed faulty merge resolutions, resulting in more robust and maintainable tests. Enhanced continuous integration stability by improving test setup and teardown processes and clarifying failure signals. Demonstrated a methodical approach to API development and unit testing within a production codebase over the month.
