Worked on the IQSS/dataverse repository to enhance the security of demo and tutorial materials by introducing explicit warnings about hardcoded passwords and secrets. Focused on improving documentation using reStructuredText, the developer updated production.rst to highlight security risks and provide guidance for safe demo usage. The approach emphasized security best practices and technical writing to reduce the risk of credential exposure for new users during onboarding. All changes were delivered through concise, traceable commits, ensuring clarity and maintainability. This work strengthened the repository’s documentation and onboarding process by embedding security awareness directly into the instructional content and supporting materials.
