Worked on stabilizing navigation and URL handling within the grafana/prometheus repository, focusing on resolving a bug that affected the linking from Alerts and Rules to the Graph view. Addressed the issue by updating the createExpressionLink function to correctly join query parameters with an ampersand and remove any trailing dots, ensuring URLs were properly formatted. This fix restored disabled navigation links and improved user workflows for alert and rule authors as well as graph viewers. The work was implemented using JavaScript and TypeScript, leveraging frontend development skills with React to enhance reliability and reduce support issues related to broken links.
