Hafiz Edar developed foundational localization and internationalization support for the Xed-Editor repository, focusing on enabling Malay and English (Middle) translations. Using XML as the primary language for translation files, Hafiz established a scalable pipeline that integrates with Weblate to streamline translation commits and future updates. The work addressed the need for broader accessibility by allowing the user interface to adapt to different languages, particularly targeting Malay-speaking users. Although the project spanned just one month and did not involve bug fixes, the technical depth lay in designing a maintainable XML-based workflow that reduces future localization effort and supports rapid UI changes.
