Worked on enhancing real-time data channel reliability and security across the livekit/rust-sdks and livekit/client-sdk-js repositories. Focused on resolving two critical bugs affecting End-to-End Encryption (E2EE) by improving packet format handling and correcting binary length calculations for DataTrackPacket extensions. Leveraged Rust and TypeScript to align encoding and serialization logic across both SDKs, reducing data transmission errors and ensuring compliance with updated E2EE specifications. Emphasized robust unit testing and cross-language consistency to support private use cases, ultimately enabling more reliable and secure client experiences. Demonstrated depth in back end and full stack development through targeted, high-impact bug fixes.
