During October 2025, Alden Wil focused on enhancing data integrity within the KelvinTegelaar/CIPP repository by implementing strict alphanumeric validation for role names in the application’s settings. Using React and JavaScript, Alden introduced a regex-based validation mechanism that ensures only valid alphanumeric role names are accepted, thereby reducing the risk of invalid data entries. The feature also provides user-friendly feedback to guide users in correcting input errors. This targeted update, delivered in a single commit, established a foundation for broader input validation across the product. The work demonstrated a focused approach to front end development and attention to user experience.
