During June 2025, Garrett enhanced GDPR compliance within the KelvinTegelaar/CIPP repository by developing a GDPR Roles Definitions feature. He focused on compliance management and role-based access control, using PowerShell to introduce precise definitions for data protection roles. This work enabled accurate identification and management of user roles, directly supporting GDPR requirements and strengthening system administration practices. By linking the changes to a specific commit for auditability, Garrett ensured traceability and prepared the system for future audits. The depth of the work lay in aligning technical role definitions with regulatory standards, improving governance and access control across the repository’s user base.
