Developed and integrated a new date and time difference operator for the Meaningful-Data/vtlengine repository, expanding its data transformation capabilities. Focused on backend development and data engineering, the work involved implementing parsing, validation, and evaluation logic in Python to accurately compute durations between date or time values. Comprehensive unit tests were added to ensure correctness and reliability across supported input types, strengthening the operator framework’s robustness. The approach emphasized maintainable code, clear commit practices, and thorough validation coverage, resulting in improved analytics accuracy and reliability for downstream data processing tasks. No bug fixes were recorded during this period.
