Worked on the Meaningful-Data/vtlengine repository to enhance the reliability and maintainability of SQL query processing. Focused on refactoring the UDO name resolution logic within the SQL transpiler and structure visitor, which improved the robustness and accuracy of handling user-defined objects in queries. Addressed test suite stability by removing references to broken UDO variants and cleaning up related code, reducing test flakiness and maintenance overhead. Utilized Python and SQL, applying skills in code refactoring, data processing, and software testing. The work resulted in more reliable query translation and a stronger foundation for future development involving user-defined operators and objects.
