Alexios developed a metadata collection and analysis pipeline for the egenomics/agb2025 repository, focusing on Group4’s MGnify data. He designed a reproducible workflow in R that automates the extraction, processing, and export of study-specific metadata, leveraging API integration and bioinformatics tools. The solution utilized R Markdown, MGnifyR, vegan, and ggplot2 to fetch, process, and visualize data, resulting in a detailed CSV output and shareable analysis scripts. By integrating scalable data retrieval and context-aware processing, Alexios addressed the need for reproducible, scalable metadata analytics. The work demonstrated depth in data extraction, R programming, and bioinformatics workflow design.
