Worked on the ScottyLabs/cmueats repository to enhance event visibility by updating the Nova GenAI Hackathon header to display the event date, November 9th. This front end feature was implemented using React with TypeScript and JavaScript, focusing on improving UI clarity and reducing user confusion about event timing. The change was delivered through a single, well-documented commit linked directly to the relevant issue for traceability. No bug fixes were required, as the work centered on a targeted UI content update with minimal risk. The approach emphasized clear documentation and alignment with marketing and user experience objectives for the application.
