March 2025 was focused on hardening authentication flows and simplifying the SLAS API surface in SalesforceCommerceCloud/commerce-sdk-isomorphic. Delivered a major enhancement to the SLAS Helper with extended support for arbitrary custom parameters and headers across authentication helpers, coupled with strengthened type safety for optional parameters and bodies. This work included comprehensive tests to validate new input options and ensure reliability of the auth flows. In parallel, we removed the custom parameters and headers surface from the SLAS helper to simplify usage, reduce misuse, and improve maintainability. The combined changes improve integration reliability with identity providers, reduce developer friction, and strengthen security posture across Salesforce Commerce Cloud integrations.
