February 2026 — Focused data schema refinement for SaaS example CSVs in FinOps-Open-Cost-and-Usage-Spec/FOCUS_Spec to strengthen data quality, attribution, and analytics. Implemented a targeted feature: removal of deprecated columns, addition of HostProviderName, and enforcement of consistent naming and ordering, along with updated scenario descriptions. This work improves ingestion reliability, downstream reporting accuracy, and future-proofing for CSV-based data inputs. No major bugs fixed this month; primary value comes from data-model evolution, clearer scenarios, and design-for-maintainability. Technologies demonstrated include CSV data modeling, backward-compatible schema evolution, and Git-based collaboration across the repo.
