Worked on the janus-idp/backstage-plugins repository to streamline frontend testing infrastructure by removing legacy Playwright tests and associated configuration files. Focused on code cleanup and maintenance, the approach involved identifying obsolete test files and ensuring their complete removal to reduce continuous integration runtime and minimize flaky test runs. Documented these changes with a dedicated changeset to maintain traceability and inform downstream consumers of the updated test strategy. Utilized JavaScript and TypeScript to manage the codebase, applying best practices in testing and repository hygiene. This work improved maintainability and clarified the direction for future test development within the project.
