In January 2025, Allaher developed and delivered the S3 Endpoint Customization and URL Addressing Styles feature for the logto-io/logto repository. This work introduced support for custom S3 endpoints and allowed users to select between path-style and virtual-hosted URL addressing, enhancing compatibility with a range of S3-compatible storage backends. Allaher updated the storage utilities and schema to accommodate these new configuration options, focusing on configuration-driven design and schema migrations. Using TypeScript and leveraging skills in API integration and backend development, this feature streamlined customer deployments and reduced onboarding time by enabling more flexible cloud storage integration.
